Our board members help us envision a future for our organization and our outreach efforts. The Board acts as guardians and governs our policies, procedures, and financial concerns.

Board members perform three functions:

• Duty of Care: help with assets and facilities, guide staff and volunteers, and advance goodwill
• Duty of Loyalty: ensure that P.E.A.R.L. adheres to its stated mission and make decisions for the benefit of P.E.A.R.L., not an individual or for-profit organization
• Duty of Obedience: maintain the legality of P.E.A.R.L. activities and fundraising efforts and keep with bylaws
