Ben was a Bentonville attorney and founding board member at P.E.A.R.L. His experience as a criminal defense attorney allowed him opportunities to witness, firsthand, the real and human struggle of addiction. Ben was highly active in the Benton County Treatment Courts, thus inspiring his passion to help create a support system for recovery through his work at P.E.A.R.L.

The Ben Roberds Scholarship fund was created to honor Ben’s work that was cut short by his battle with cancer on April 24, 2019, at the age of 37. The scholarship, awarded annually, creates opportunities for successful Benton County Treatment Court participants to further their education through an accredited 2 or 4-year college or a vocational school. Every dollar donated goes towards education related expenses such as tuition, books, supplies and more.

Help continue to honor Ben’s vision by supporting the Ben Roberds Scholarship fund.
